Check the internet to see if a new patch for the 9x game you are trying to play has been released that improves compatibility with new OS like XP. Probably a good solution most of the time.

PS: I've heard you can install Windows 95 on DosBox! Google it. There are several solutions but not without their drawbacks.ĭosBox is probably the best DOS emulator there is.
